The Best Western Edinburgh is housed in a former maternity hospital, and provides modern accommodation within a traditional listed building. The hotel is 10-15 minutes' walk from Princes Street and the Castle, while there are restaurants and bars close by to enjoy. Guest rooms are clean and modern, with standard facilities. Guests can relax in the hotel bar area, or enjoy a meal in the bistro if they're too tired after a busy day out. The Edinburgh City is an ideal base in Central Edinburgh from which to ‘work or play’.

This hotel was originally a Victorian Maternity Hospital and offers the unusual combination of traditional building with a modern interior. There are 52 well-equipped guestrooms of good size and tasteful decor and a friendly bar to relax and unwind in after a busy day sightseeing. Guests can dine in the contemporary restaurant, "Simpson's Bistro" which serves British and Continental cuisine.

     couldn't really fault this hotel, it was very good value....             would not recommend this hotel unless they put in double glazing ...             Most enjoyable weekend altogether...             Breakfast was excellent ...             The hotel, the staff and the food was excellent...             we recommend it highly...             A great place to stay in Edinburgh....             would highly recommend to anyone with mobility...             meals excellent...              I would book hotel again....             For us the breakfast was included in the price of room and was ok. ...             Good value for money. ...             nice hotel...             We would definitly use this hotel again....             hotel clean....             Excellant all round !...
