The George Hotel offers you the chance to stay amid the Georgian splendour of Edinburgh’s New Town, yet still be close to Princes Street, the Castle and the Royal Mile. The hotel’s Grade II-listed façade has been impeccably preserved and inside there is a wonderful air of contemporary chic – thanks to a recent multi-million pound refurbishment.

Parking is not available,local NCP is ?19 per day.... We had our meal at the Tempus bar and was deliscous ... Car parking is 5 mins away but you receive 20 percent off with staying at the hotel.... Good food which was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel... we ate in the hotel restaurant and would recommend it. ... bar gets very full with non residents at weekend so go in early if you want a seat... The Tempus Bar is also a great feature to the hotel... hotel bar is probably one of the best in the city,... The food was also superb... food was good and so were the facilities... From entering to leaving the staff and facilities were excellent ... tried to get room service & i rang for over an hour & got no response ... good food ... facilties on offer excellent ... Music in the bar/restaurent (Tempus) was appalling ... unable to get food or room service on Sunday night...
