Newly opened in 2006 and multi award winning, Le Monde Hotel is a boutique property. As its name suggests, it’s themed on the idea that residents have the whole world on their doorstep, with the 18 en suite guestrooms named after different cities and designed accordingly. Regardless of individual design, all of them feature Egyptian cotton sheets, Tassimo coffee maker, L'Occitane toiletries, under-floor heating, GHD hair straighteners on request, Nintendo Wii's available to book for the evening. There are three on-site restaurants: Paris, Vienna and Milan.
Paris is an opulent cocktail bar and restaurant that provides a contemporary twist on the traditional Parisian Salon and serves up great food in stylish surroundings. The magnificent interior, with its sumptuous fabrics, classy period loungers and mood lighting, creates an intimate space in which to relax with a classic cocktail or a glass of champagne.
With its grand island bar, Vienna is George Street's number one evening hotspot for eating, drinking and having fun. During the day it’s a tranquil venue in which to have lunch.
Milan is where guests start the day with a great selection of coffee and pastries or the hearty Full Scottish Breakfast. Later in the day, it also offers a selection of the coldest beer to help you relax for the night ahead.
Last but not least, the Shanghai Club is a terrific nightclub, with RnB, Hip Hop, Mash-ups, Urban Electro and Chart, as well as a student night.
