The Mount Royal hotel has an excellent location on Princes Street. The hotel provides good tourist standard accommodation, rooms being equipped with most facilities. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant where guests can relax and enjoy the views of Princes Street. This is a good choice for those who want simple accommodation with a prime location, so they can explore the city.

A traditional style building, in keeping with the rest of Princes Street, in the heart of the shopping district. The hotel has a small entrance located between the shops. The hotel has 158 medium sized modern bedrooms. All fully equipped with everything you would need to ensure a comfortable stay. The Mount Royal resaurant can be found on the first floor. Spacious and bright, it offers A la carte and carvery menus and fantastic views over Princes Street. A good choice for those who like to stay in a central location.

      breakfast was plentiful....             We certainly would stay at the Mount Royal hotel again ...              very pleasant stay...             will be using this hotel without hesitation again. ...             breakfast was fine ...             our stay was not a happy one...             Well presented breakfast ...             good food...             This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel....             been in cheaper and better hotels in edinburgh...             Breakfast served until 10 30 on saturdays great choice and good food...             Excellent breakfasts and dinner. ...             Free and relaxed atmospherewithin hotel ...             food very nice,breakfast and scottish menu excellent....             very good value hotel...             i had no problems with my stay...
