Very noisy - room onto street. On checking in, staff was unsure about room booked, and had to make a phone call. Although my voucher (handed to staff member) clearly stated twin room for named persons, myself and daughter, I was asked if I wanted it changed to a double room! Not great attention to detail to begin with. I had pre booked and pre paid for room and board. At breakfast next morning we were not on the breakfast list. This followed an embarrassing scene whereby the ? restaurant manager asked how we had paid for breakfast. Having informed him that I had pre booked/prepaid I was asked to bring documentation to him. During breakfast my daughter went to reception, whereby the receptionist that had booked us in the previous day (at the time telling us what I already knew - that I had paid for b/b)came into dining area and spoke with the manager. He then explained the error to us: the company that we had booked with - 'justonehotel' usually carries out reservations on a room only basis- not breakfast included!! Anyway while each department was busy blaming the other I was left with a poor appetite for it all! Again not a difficult thing to accurately transfer information interdepartmentally I would have thought. Pool/spa area nice. Lack of disinfectant in foot pool not conducive to hygiene and safe practice. Excellent spa treatments - can highly recommend. Staff very polite and professional. Consierge/front desk staff v helpful.
